Ruiheng earned his B.Sc. in Chemistry with a minor in Math in 2018 from Peking University. Ruiheng was a member of Prof. Junrong Zheng\u2019s lab and spent a lot of time on ultrafast laser spectroscopy and different microscope systems. His thesis is about the laser cutting setups and its application on the restoration of skin with freckles or scars. Ruiheng joined Northwestern as a chemistry Ph.D student in 2018 and graduated in 2023. In Jonathan Rivnay’s lab, he focuses on different kinds of characterization techniques, including EQCM, UV-Vis, Raman, GIXS, XPCS, XRF, EM and AFM. Through different characterizing methods, people can get a better understanding of the structure-property relationships of different conjugated polymers. His research is mainly focusing on acid treated PEDOT:PSS and also explores other novel OMIEC materials. After graduation, he joined Stanford University in 2024. In Zhenan Bao’s lab, he tries to understand the film formation process of conjugated polymer\/elastomer blends and the resulted phase separation behavior. He is interested to combine UV-Vis, cryoEM, AFM, solution SAXS, GIXS and RSoXS together for a multimodal study. Ruiheng loves photography, world history and road trip in his spare time. Especially, he is a crazy fan about classical art.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Do not treat my lenses well. The following equipments are used year-round: Canon R6 ii with a Canon 70-200 f2.8 telephoto lens, Nikon d810 with a Sigma 24-35 f2 quasi-wide angle lens, and a red Benro carbon fiber tripod. Also, I am a previous Canon 6D user.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

A Traveler<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Have never been to Europe! Want to be there in the future. Wanna list some destinations here: Andalusia, Veneto, Thrace, The Netherlands and Silesia. Other places want to go include Niger River Basin, Patagonia, Transoxiana and Rapa Nui.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

A Chemist<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Actually I am an analytical chemist or physical chemist working for a biomedical engineer lab. Yes, this is the reality of the multidisciplinary nature of modern science. I graduated in Oct, 2023. Different from 1 year ago, now I prefer to stay in academia. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
